Yeah, after you kill the first few waves, everything kinda just stops. A gap of less than, you know, five frickin minutes between waves would be nice. However, raising the difficulty would lead to an insane number of amount of whining. Not only that, it would bring out all the people who did it on the nerfed version trying to e-flex without knowing the difficulty was increased. You know the QQing from Willa and Coventina that comes regularly because people have never heard of Daze or this amazing thing called a Mesmer? Imagine if we threw Demetrios in there regularly. The amount of complaining would go up incredibly. Now, while the fact that this may be good because it forces people to learn about the game is debatable, the bitching that comes from it is 100% annoying.
Perhaps make changes to Hard Mode but not normal? That would bring some challenge but still let people beat it on normal mode. But I don't think an NM buff would do anything more than make the QQing go up, unless the "buff" is to make the mobs come a bit faster. Making them come like 5 minutes faster is still reasonable considering how insanely slow they come now, but it wouldn't really be any harder, just faster.

If anything at all needs to be changed in this mish...It's the end.
-me: "PLEASE, PLEASE...DON'T TALK TO JALIS WHEN PROMPTED. I'd like to map this area."
after stating that about 5 times(throughout duration of Mish) and pretty much begging for people not to..what the hell do you think happens? LoL. I can't even count how many times I had to redo THK because we have premature talkulators That have no clue and or just don't care. I've had guildies do it to me as well.

the end could be changed or improved. make everyone have to talk to the king at the end to finish or make it that if someone talks to him the mission finishes for that person, they get their reward and can leave while others choose to map the area and pop the 2-3 chests that usually spawn out there. (or just hero/hench the damn mission, its easy enough to do unless its your first time through it)
as for the groups and how they come into the fort, ive always hated how slow it was. either speed the groups up some or add more enemy to the groups so your fighting a bit longer that way it doesnt seem like your waiting so long between groups.

Most of the people reading this thread don't understand the point.
What the OP is saying is that the time between groups at the end is much too long. In HM, this is a little more bearable because of the buffed run time of the enemies, but it's still dumb to just wait around forever not doing anything.
When I do the mission now, I just fire up the bonus and afk at the king for an hour.
One of my biggest pet peeves with this game is being forced to play for more than an hour to complete a mission/quest/etc.

i dunoo people...its supposed to be a siege right?

me, or I wouldn't have made the thread. And it seems you are, otherwise you wouldn't have clicked on the thread or replied to it.
and the reason I am doing the mission in NM (for those that ponder) is because it was the only mission I needed the bonus for the tyria protector, and if I did it in HM, it wouldn't give me protector title.

If I wanted patience in a game, I'd play RuneScape, and I had the time, if I didn't I wouldn't play guild wars.

It was quite a hard mission, new skills make it easier. The campaign isn't suppose to be easy and possible for anyone, otherwise we'd be fighting level 3's in the Ring of Fire that spam frenzy and heal sig. New to the game, beat the game, and then go to FoW, UW, or another campaign and get owned?
I say play the game, have trouble on some missions and bonuses, and if you don't know about elite skills, go and try to learn about them. This game wasn't meant to be easy, even in normal mode. And you're never going to learn the game if it's too easy.

I've got to say, that was the lamest statement ever. Surely you understand that there are many ideas out there that have "omg gimme free title pl0x", and I've said it before, do the mission with bonus, and come back and tell me I'm impatient. And I'd appreciate it if you didn't lie when you do come back.

Why would increasing the frequency of the rushes make this harder? Just make the mission end in a reasonable timeframe, please.

I did this on HM for guardian, then bonus bugged and didn't come (yes i did light beacons in time). Anyways, the mission was so easy that i could go afk and come back in 20 minutes. Hard? No i don't think so.
Give us 2x more enemies 50% faster PLZ.

anet bent their fingers back to lighten the mish up...and now a few want it rolled to where it was..LoL this is gonna get good if they even listen to the community again about what should be done. (That is, if they did)
I remember all sorts of crying about how tuff it was. they gave the populace what it wanted(toned down, easier going) and now the people puked it right back at them. SweeT!

Then go afk...
